Anna Agadjanian: The Coyote Database

Anna  developed a database system to be used by the Coyote Project. The Coyote Project is a motivation by the biologists to understand the physiology and behavior of large predators and their interaction with their ecosystem. It is important to understand their energetic habitat needs (e.g. ecosystem balance). The database system is designed to present information in a convenient way for biologists to use. It will allow them to easily query the data. The information is displayed in a web interface where the users are able to select certain queries and view the results. The database system is a relational database designed in MySQL database and the query scripts are implemented in Perl. Presented at the Surf-IT Poster Session.
